Thanks, David. It's connected by USB. I seem to remember a larger menu of inputs and outputs in the MIDI ports section.

You would think. I couldn't get the impulse pads mapped with any amount of tweaking. I guess impulse is a "legacy plug-in" now that drum rack is out.

I've never had a positive experience using Hypercontrol in Live. If you figure it out, please post back here!

I'm curious to know if Hypercontrol has been improved at all in recent releases of Live. I basically shelved my Axiom Pro because I couldn't get the pads working in Impulse. That's one of the best known issues, but far from the only issue with using an Axiom Pro keyboard with Live 8.

That makes sense, but why would that cause the synth to play one note when the transport is stopped, and the same note in a different octave when the transport is running?

I'll try one more time. In drum rack, I use option drag to stack multiple samples on a single pad. Say I have two kicks: a 707 from Drum Machines, and an acoustic kick from my personal collection.

I have an interface with multiple outputs. I need to send a stereo mix on outputs 1/2 to a recorder and a mirror of that same stereo mix to a PA on outputs 3/4.

I see where I can assign tracks to one pair of outputs or the other, but how do I get the main mix on all four outputs? Thanks.
