thanks for your reply. The only difference was that you turned the Monitor to "AUTO" in the midi track, this way it works. When turning this to "ON", like the audio track, the channel wont send any midi at all.

short correction. When playing via controller/keyboard, the midi signal is received by live and correctly broadcasted to reason. But the track still doesnt generate any midi notes, even i can see them on the track.

You installed the driver that came with the oxygen8 ? To be sure, do it like M-Audio suggests: Install driver from CD and then plug-in your device into USB. (you are using USB with the oxy8 do you?)
