Operator folder path OS X

I have not used Live for over a year or so and I recently upgraded to 6.0.7 for my new MacBook Pro. After I purchased the upgrade, I had to do a reinstall of OS X, as I copied too many unecessary files with Migration Assistant. So Live was sitting on an external hard drive and I wonder if I did not ...

You are writing from Gothenberg, yet make no mention of Machinedrum?

Actually, I can while away so many hours finding insane sounds in MD that
lately I appreciate very much the relative simplicity of Impulse.

Yeah I know, slight price difference as well.

hey adam,

i no longer remember the thread, but i thought the gist of it was that you are generally opposed, or maybe vehemently opposed, to anyone bothering to use
reaktor on a mac, mostly for the usual cpu hogger bloatware issues.

read another of your posts about using mostly operator instead ...

my AKG 171s do well enough to eliminate the fan noises, but i would not consider using my iMac to gig.

that said, my 17 " 2 ghz rev B, maxed out with 2 gb of RAM, is a very happy home for Live, especially after using a TiBook (768/1 GB) for the past few years.it will certainly stand in well until ...

You might want to take the fan noise issue seriously, and check out how many threads this has generated on the iMac discussion boards.

I have not used my iMac to perform, but I was surprised and happy to read of Popsiko's success -- however, I suspect he/she might not be making particularly quiet ...

(with all due apologies and respects to Italians)

A bus stops and two Italian men get on. They sit down and engage in an animated conversation. The lady sitting behind them ignores them at first, but her attention is galvanized when she hears one of the men say the following:
“Emma come first. Den ...

Hey Format,

To slightly echo Adam's thoughts --

I spent my first weekend with a new iMac G5 (2 Ghz), and also as an owner of a TiBook 867, I am happy to report that I was suitably blown away, and Live seems reborn to me. Sure, it is no 3.6 Ghz, but for the most part, maybe the 'future is now ...

Cheers squared to Alex and Adam, I know for a fact that their opinions have led me spend my chump change far more wisely.

Would be nice to hear their simultaneous, and perhaps somewhat similar, opinions on our MacIntel future...

alex = adam?

My subject heading is a little pointless, as I am not really suggesting that they resemble each other too much, except that they both wrote/write great posts. .

I've been around here since v.2 (under another name) and not to sound overly nostalgic, but does anyone ever wonder what happpend to Alex ...

If only to confirm that Tiger does not make much difference...

1. 78%
2. TiBook
3. 10.4
4. 867 mhz
5. 1 GB
6. MOTU 828 mkII
7. 4200 rpm

Has anyone tried a new 2 ghz 17"" iMac?

Of course the other iMac postings would seem to suggest it is already a fine Mac way to go.
