This thing is driving me crazy. How do you get it to send CC or MIDI notes? The manual wasn't very helpful.

playback volume is louder than the live input volume for me.
i'm using live 4 in tiger.
faders are as close to 0 dB as i can get them.
faders at 0 in hardware monitoring console (echo layla24)
i'm using spdif out so there are no +4dB -10dB buttons.
i'm using the same outputs to monitor live ...

and enough memory, CPU etc. latest OSX upgrade, latest drivers.... I'm sorta pissed...

The biggest problem isn't latency, it's it crackles and pops during playback and recording.

I'm on OSX.

I thought I would add that it works fine with Emagic software. I'm either getting Logic Express or a Firewire audio interface.

With the EMI 2|6.

Crackling, no proper way of monitoring.

If I record a click track and play it back with the regular click track the recorded click track plays back later.

I have latency set to 0ms.

When I use hardware monitoring and I'm recording a clip Live starts recording too early.That's what I meant by "latency issues".

It works fine in Logic of course...

I have a lot of problems with Live and the EMI 2|6. I was hoping Live 4 would fix this, but it doesn't seem like it did.

I get all sorts of crackling. There's input latency issues, there doesn't seem to be a way to do software monitoring without getting the sound doubled.

I'm using the 4,01 Demo ...

How do you change the channel strip to mono? Now when I play a mono sound it only plays through the left channel. I know I've done this before. I couldn't find anything in the manual.
