Mono Samples

How do you change the channel strip to mono? Now when I play a mono sound it only plays through the left channel. I know I've done this before. I couldn't find anything in the manual.

for sample playback you have to render the sample to actually be mono instead of a stereo file with only one channel.

when monitoring live input, make sure you have mono monitoring selected under preferences->audio->settings->input config. then select the mono channel from the input section of your desired channel.
