Live 11 and older version of Windows 10?
My DAW is running Windows 10 1709 and uses Intel 6700K tuned to a constant 4.00 GHz. The system has 64GB RAM and the sound card is RME UFXplus running Thunderbolt. I am currently using Live 10.1.30, and the system works flawlessly and is kept offline. I would like to upgrade to Live 11 mostly for ...

10.0.6 and Komplete Kontrol S61, Resolved
Resolved: I had to re-install the Komplete Kontrol script after updating Live from 10.0.5 to 10.0.6. The S61 keyboard works fine again. Apparently, updating Live to 10.0.6 deleted the script from Live, which was not expected.
I really like the integration of Live's mixer into the S61 keyboard.

Sampler noob question
Would someone be kind enough to let me know or point to where I can find out how to adjust the release envelope on a sample so that when I let go of the key the sample fades out instead of cuts off immediately?
Thanks,

Re: Most stable audio card for live performance
I have used the Babyface with the Presonus Digimax FS 8 channel ADAT interface many times for live performances. Rock solid with buffer set to 128.
HOWEVER, its generally accepted to never run a computer audio interface directly into a PA system - always into a mixer first. That way if there is a ...

The buttons on BCR2000 can be programed either Toggle or Momentary. Might help to look into that.

Re: Live is just crashing all the time now.
Thinking of updating from Live 8.21 to Live 8.25. I am using Windows 7 64bit OS. I also have Max4Live but do not use it much yet. Any info/observations regarding stability of Live 8.25 on Windows would be appreciated. Should I stay on Live 8.21 a while longer? Thanks, Brontoy

Re: Behringer BCR2000 and BCF2000 and Looper
Thanks for the reply!
Furthermore: Is it possible to connect one footswitch to the BCR2000/BCF2000 and have it control a Looper audio effect inserted on any track selected? For example, if I were to have 4 audio tracks with Loopers inserted, could I select track 1 with a button, then control the ...

Behringer BCR2000 and BCF2000
Can these be used together at the same time to control a Live project? Thinking of getting these if Live's controls can be spread out across both units. If so, could anyone share their experience with such a set-up? Is it stable enough to use in a public performance situation?
Thanks in advance ...

Re: CueStop 1.0
Hi Peter,
I am very happy to hear that you are still working on it! This utility will be SUPER useful to me when it is rock solid stable.
Thank you for your efforts. It might be a while before my Max skills will be good enough to offer any real help.
If you have a chance, maybe let me know when ...

Re: CueStop 1.0
Hello Peter,
Thanks for starting to build this. However, at this stage of development, it does not consistently stop at every Locator named "stop". Maybe I am doing something wrong?
This would be a super useful tool for me if it were rock solid. I hope you can continue to develop it.
Thanks ...

Re: possible to program arrangement view stop play?
Thanks for the interest. It seems to me that programmable Locators would be a possible way to go. Playback Pause on Locator or playback Play-Through Locator, for example etc.

Re: possible to program arrangement view stop play?
Thanks for your responses!
Bagle, is it really possible using Max4Live? Would it be tough to learn to program that?

possible to program arrangement view stop play?
Is there a way to program "stop play" commands on the arrangement view timeline? I would like to start playback in the arrangement view, and then have playback stop at a given position, and then be able to start playback from that position again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Brontoy

Please help noob with time stretching orchestral music clips
Maybe this is quite easy, but I have not worked with warping in Live very much at all yet. I am working on a ballet performance with abstract orchestral music of which I do not know the tempo. The music is divided into 10 sections that I have put onto 10 scenes. I need to slow down the music in some ...
