All good now, guess I must have set my library folder in my documents, guess I must have done it on accident. Think I'm fixed for now...

Can it be that hard to search for the library stuff? search for "instrument rack" or "consolidated" or whatever other Ableton terms..

As far as deleting preferences, I doubt any serious problems could be caused by that. People do it all the time and it's a common suggestion as a first step fix-all ...
