I use a $3000.00 MacBookPro and a refurbished HP laptop that can be picked up at PC Mall for $700. They are both 17" hi-res with the same processor. The differences.

Wasnt try to start a Mac vs Pc war in here just trying to get peoples computer advice so I can take pro's and cons of each system and make my decision. And for the thread thing, I scrolled through a grip of pages and didnt find anything but I do admit I did not use the search function. So my bad

Ableton is clearly an excellent looping sequencer but I have now migrated fully from Cubase and briefly Sonar because of the excellent and fluid arrange page options.

As an initial suggestion for you, find a track in your music collection you like and is similar to the loop you have ...

I like the sounds your are using but I think you need some more variation. I like the intro and I was waiting for something to happen the track didnt really go anywhere. I would try adding just a few more elements and build it up a bit more.

Hey man I really like this track. Good use of drums, and the bass moves this track along nicely. I havent heard the original either but the chord sounds nice.
