I'd suggest Latin America, it's large... you can promote yourself as a foreign DJ, many beachfront tourist towns need DJs.. That said, it's not the 90's. Travel is hard right now, economic/political situations are tense... It's hard to get work visas without a college degree and then it's some crapp...

The only thing that lives around here are pretentious hipsters with too much indie shite. If you got some real electronic music, bring it by. We don't even get good to...

Agreed... SonicBytes ERA is a really good addition to Live.

I was going to buy a used Rs7000 to do what I can easily do with ERA, though a native step sequencer inside Live would be nice...

THere are lots of others... Loop-digging is an art and a science, contrary to public belief.

The waves plugins are nice... They are really good for getting mixes of lots of different things to sit well with each other. good compressors are naturally going to use a lot of cpu. I don't think they have the 'character' or 'warmth' or 'color' of the UAD plugins or the Sonalksis compressor. I dun...

Hard to say, Bob Marley. Jimmy Hendrix, Miles Davis, Jim Morrison all were pretty talented on massive quantities of illegal substances... That said, these are different times. There isn't really a music scene now like there was then. I think it takes a different set of talents then it did then, unle...

I don't understand, just legalize pot. Why would they ever have legalized Alcohol then? That's a hard drug. How did the banking system react on that fact ?:D There's some evidence that one of the reasons that prohibition ended was that we were in a depression and it was seen as a way to develop tax...

ordered to pay $3.5 million in punitive damages and at least $733,000 in direct damages plus interest to Armen Boladian, owner of Bridgeport Music and Westbound Records.
What I want to know is how much of this money is going to the Ohio players? My guess is very little.

I tried it out. Very nice! Until I went in to Preferences and turned 'select on launch' to off I couldn't see what you were doing, The clip view would keep selecting the triggered clip. For anyone trying this on PC I used Midi Yoke. Works well. I was asked to play with a jazz ensemble and I was tryi...

You might look at guitar rig. I've been very impressed with it, so much so that I sold my line 6. Waves also has a guitar interface. If you are just recording guitar you might check those out.
