Hi everyone,

i have a question about live sets i'd like to do with a friend of mine... As we both love ableton and would like to use it for live performances, we would ike to know if it's possible to link the 2 laptops and have they run in sync, as if they had timecode giving positional reference ...

the Live engine is 64 bit floating point, not 32.

i was talking about the fact that Live automatically brings the bit depth of the audio tracks from 16 or 24 to 32, if you use any kind of plug ins in theirs chain.

I read this on the Music tech focus magazine on Ableton Live in the section ...

I read in a Magazine that live internal processing brings the bit depth from 16 or 24 to 32.

Does this occur even if i don't plug anything in the signal chain inside Live?
If i record a track to 24 bit depth, am i supposed to bounce it to 24 or 32 if i want to further process it in another ...

last night i was recording a vocalist in my studio.

After few takes, it happened 3 times that Live crashed after recording a track... during the recording process all went smooth but as soon as i pushed the stop button because the singer was done, the program crashed and the take went lost...
