Re: Rewiring Torq into Live 8 with ASIO4ALL
hi jord1242,
this sounds like a sample rate issue.
check this:
-what is the sample rate in Live preferences->audio?
-is it the same sample rate as it is in the Torq preferences?
-is it the same in the asio4all control panel?

Re: Can I use max to move warp markers in Live?
It would make more sense to remote control the transpose knob of a warped clip as it does not affect the timing of the audio.
Accessing certain warp markers is not possible.

Live installs all it's content like loops, clips, samples, presets.. into it's Live library folder.
Via Live->preferences->library->library location you can find out where on your hard disk this folder is.
.alp files are Live packs and contain this kind of library content.

Re: 8.1.4 Suite Install
Hi,
Live 8.1.4 will use the same library folder as 8.1.3 did.
This folder is not in the 8.1.3 program folder, though.
You can find it's location when you open Live and goto preferences->library.
There is the library location. That is the path to the library folder on your hard disk.

Re: Loss of Midi
Hi index101,
the loss of the midi signal can be caused by faulty drivers.
Make sure you have the latest drivers for the midi device installed and re-install them if necessary.
Another cause can be underpowered USB ports.
When the device gets to little power from the USB port it can turn of and on ...

Re: Re-Installation of Live Suite 8
no, it does not.
The suite download installer contains everything the Suite download license involves (Operator, Sampler, Drum Machines...).
The discs contain the Session Drums and the EIC in addition to everything the download has.

Hi,
what OS do you have on your Mac?
Which exact versions of the Spectrasonics plugins do you have?
Have you used universal binary installers?

Hi,
try a different warp mode.
Some warp modes fit better to particular audio material than others.
Check the Live manual for more info about the different warp modes.

Hi,
sounds like the Zone button would send the same midi message as the foot pedal.
Use the Enigma software which you can download from the M-Audio website to reprogram either the Zones button of the foot pedal.
They both need to send different messages.

Re: Live not responding to MIDI controller.
Hi,
that sounds like a audio driver problem.
As long as the audio engine is deactivated, the keyboard will not trigger anything that could produce sound.
Try whether re-installing the ASIO driver helps.
You get the latest audio driver for your audio interface on the manufacturers homepage.
