Same problem.
I'm trying to guess what the problem is: Hardware issue, soft/config issue, ... ?
Motu says nothing about... New driver, same problem.
I remember stability before snow leopard, and I'm thinking in downgrading my OS, and the problem will be over, but before doing this, I'll make my last ...

I understand that there's a reason for this that's security, but analogue synths can damage our eardrums as like as our tweeters... I need the sonic ball, please let feedback rise up to 100%!

you say you use automation envelopes you want to recreate in the other layered sound:
do you mean clip envelopes or track automation ones? no matter.
alt+command+c to copy selected emvelope, paste it in other's track parameter, and it's done!
i'm mac user. i supposse in win it'll be alt+control+c ...

Wouldn't it be nice launching videoclips in Session view.
For a more "Live" A-V setup.

last week i downloadded the new beta version drivers for leopard. audio works, but midi is the same, you can see it and choose it from midi prefs, but doesn't work at all.

If it isnt too late and you don't need lots of outputs, the best choice without any doubt is the Apogee DUET. maybe you know it ...

one question: is it conected midi out from the synth to any midi input of the computer? because if it's not, maybe this is the answer: your handtweak affects the synth and it works as you are performing, since computer sends notes to synth, and synth knobs affect the sound but as there is no midi ...

when editing a midi clip with a wide range melody, you need to choose between arrangement or clip view, both is impossible, but some times you need to look both at the same time. (do you remember reason v1.0?)

I used ghost parts in cubase, and now I miss them.
Useful, clean and cheap ... and i supose it's an easy development improvement.

it will be a good idea focalize "father" clips when selecting "son" ones

maybe a bit more complex/complete, but ok.
