howdy! nested projects occur when you save a project inside of a project. the live library itself is a project, so if you save inside of it, you will run into the problems you described. create a folder, outside of the live library, labeled my sets or some such, and start saving your projects in her...

dude, you computer is great for running either/both logic and live. the test project is pretty heavy duty, if you could run all the tracks, you should be good, if you need more power, you'll need to make friends with freeze/renders. my pc couldn't run but 2 tracks on that test, my mbp 2.16 ran ten. ...
