I have an x-session pro - the x fader is ok but nothing like real hardare - I use it for slow to medium x-fades and if I want a fast cut I use keystrokes on the qwerty keyboard - its a good compromise.

Live very slow using large folder
I have some folders with upwards of 1,000 mp3 tracks for DJing but Live is so slow when browsing with this many files - is it better to break down into sub folders?

Great app for hiding asd files
I've just bought File time edit 2 - it allows you to change the file attributes of .asd files to hidded and system files. After analyzing new mp3 files I simply run this app on the folder I've just converted and it makes all the .asd files invisable.
Fantastic

Midi file names not visible in status bar
The title says it all really - it would be good to be able to see the midi file name (as you can with audio loops) in the status bar at the bottom of the session view.

Syncing to external synths
Hi all
Does anyone know if it possible to sync more than one external device?
i.e. send midi clock to say a synth and an effects unit.
TIA

Removing middi CC data
Hi all
I've just got Live 4 and have read through the Live Basics chapter and scanned the rest but cannot find an answer to my question.
Perhaps someone here can answer.
How can I remove the controller data from imported midi clips?
I have some midi riff type files that include cutoff (CC74) data ...
