Hi all
I've just got Live 4 and have read through the Live Basics chapter and scanned the rest but cannot find an answer to my question.
Perhaps someone here can answer.
How can I remove the controller data from imported midi clips?
I have some midi riff type files that include cutoff (CC74) data that I want to delete but can't find out how.
TIA
Darren

go into the envelopes. if you look at midi ctrl you'll see a red square next to cc 74. this means it's automated. select and delete.

Thanks for the superfast reply.
Whilst learning this I noticed some CC number missing - I think I will have a similar problem with NRPNs using CC6 CC105 and CC106 these dont show up in the box.
Also program changes do not appear - is it possible to delete these things too?

program changes are on the left of the clip bank /sbank/ program. set them to NONE to delete them. i dont think live supports rnpn (yet). Midi is still on it's baby feet in Live. Still, it's like 2 steps away from becoming the greatest sequencer ever built.
So any midi stuff your missing will be implemented as soon as they figure out the code to do it

Thanks again for a quick and accurate response.
I understand that it's early days for midi, I'm very impressed by what Live can do so far - what fantastic coding. I don't think SX is going to be fired up for a while
