just off the mark

I think that your style is just a tad too progressive for most deep house labels right now...

These pieces sound very much like progressive house that has been arranged at a slower tempo... Not really 'deep' in the sense of some of the labels listed above.

I like the feel and the flow and the ...

same problem

What I did was actually copy the clip into the slot directly beneath it, then I made a loop of the intro, and then did the regular loop of the rest (starting with the ...

scratching

People were looking for a way to scratch their samples using the DM2.

While live doesn't have that functionality yet, I have heard of some VST plug-ins that can accomplish this.

OK, this is absolutely insane! I love it

This seems like such a killer app. I hope that someone will make it an official 'TIP' on the board here.

Could someone summarize the entire process for this thread. That would be great.

I'm searching out a DM2 right now... heh.

Please keep ...

inspiration

I find that I often have a simillar problem, Forge.

I've got bits and pieces of songs in my head and I have difficulty putting them all together, and it's frustrating. I think that ethios may be on to something, in that it takes a while sitting at the machine to kind of get into the groove.

What ...

quantize function

I think that what the original poster meant was starting the FIRST clip, in an attempt to match the clips with say...a record or CD that was playing. I find that I'm having that exact same problem.

Even with my input latency set to the smallest setting. I have found that I have to learn to trigger ...
