I record a clip of beats to the session view say the first 4 bars. Then I want to add say a bassline to the beats after the 4th bar, so I create a new bassline clip, record to the arrangement, but the bassline comes in at the start rather than after 4 bars. Also how come when I play a clip the ...

i worked out a way of controlling lives tempo and syncing it to decks using mis pinky and a MAX?MSP patch. you can cue from the method, you still have to trigger it via midi or keyboard/mouse, but you can nudge and push the tempo via a set of decks.

depends on where its from, vynil rips take a few markers depending on the speed variations of the turntable, but digital rips are normally ok, i get away with one or two markers.

warp markers do take up more cpu processing, but its negligible normally. any way, once its warped you can render it ...

set the quantise to "bar". and warp your tunes well.

well i've got the bcr2000 and it rocks, so unless the faders are duff, then i see no reason why you shouldnt! :D good build quality, really stable, but a few issues with the midi implementation using it as a midi hub, but i think there was a work arround with that.

could you not write a midi>osc>midi patch in MAX? i know you have to do that with the lemur control device.
