Despite re-wiring & squeezing everything inside an Xbox 360 packaging... it's alive!!!

Yall might have noticed the white paint on the knobs. The one thing I can thank my ex-girlfriend for is the suggestion to use reflective white nail polish on the knobs after I complained about not being able to ...

LOL thanks! It still fits in my gig bag but the only thing that really made it less portable is the 3lbs of tape that was added on.

This was my first attempt to butcher my gear & was actually really easy to see how the different cords connected the circuit boards together. Heck, I could probably ...

Somewhat related to this topic: the buttons on the UC 33 were too unresponsive for me but I loved having all the knobs so I surgically attached it to my Trigger Finger.

Lonely & willing in Fayetteville, NC

Avid Live user with some pretty sweet gear looking to hook up with like-minded musicians for a non-sexual encounter... unless you're a hot chick that digs a sense of humor or lack thereof.

Darnit!

Man this is a really cool idea but I can't get it to work correctly. In Live 6 the arrow keys will function but when I try to hit the center button it switches applications, won't hit enter. Tried to edit the parameters but just can't figure it out. Dangit, I'd love to be able to play Live from my ...

Oh yeah, it's great over here.

As for VSTs.. They're alright, I like the Minimonsta & Albino2 is cool. I just can't work as fast as on my Virus or Andromeda but the midi keyboard helps out a lil bit.

I did get something from my host country though, picked up a Faderfox LX2 & it rocks! Having so ...

I picked up an Alesis Photon 25 while I'm away from my studio & it's pretty nice.

The 12 knobs have great resistance & there's a layer button which turns those 12 into 36.

The keys feel nice & springy.

My only complant is the pitchbend/mod stick as it snaps back to 0 when you let go.

Overall, I ...

That vid is crazy, never seen anyone rock such a cheesy patch before.

Hey that wasn't Roman getting beat on was it? He needs those fingers in working order for layin down some more sweet keys.

Did you get a pic of that Nord before you took the sticker off? Hilarious.

I had the V-Synth keyboard with the 2.0 upgrade for over a year & I'm sad to say that I didn't care for it. It's a great performance keyboard with tons of cool aspects to it like the time-trip pad & the dual D-beams, but no matter how much I tweaked it, I just found the sounds to be... well, thin ...

hmm...

You get 10 points for vigorous use of the search function, this post is almost 2 years old!

Unfortunately, you're not going to like my answer. I ran into the problem a while back & came up with a few workarounds.

One way to see how loud the track will be is to deactivate it. The volume will go ...

Oh thanks man, that's another track that was done all in one shot. That's what I love about Live, I can basically record a whole song with my synths & not hit stop until I have a massive wall o sound, then just start cutting away at it until it flows a lil bit.

Anywho, thanks:)
