pbasonuk, in regards to the initial gripe: I know what you're going through. I posted my first question here about a week and a half ago and everyone immediately came down on me chanting the assumption-based "Manual Mantra". Its like calling information and the operator tells you to go look in the ...

I know you can manually type in the native tempo for each track--I just cant remember how. They have video tutorials on they're website, so my next step is to rewatch those and hopefully this prob will be resolved...again, HOPEFULLY.

That is correct sir!

No one's really trusting Torq's tempo detector, right?[/quote]

You have experience with Torq?

while my post was completely unhelpful,

it did directly and correctly answer your question! ;)

And it wasn't really meant to be offensive, you set yourself up for that post!

Well, being a first-time poster here, I tried to come in as humble as possible. But I was dreading the onslaught of ...

Yeah, I know about the non-destructive thing, Laird. In fact, I've been renaming them almost exactly the way you've described. Actually, I think you hit on it yesterday when you suggested that Torq has a problem with tempo. If I remember correctly, Torq's browser was displaying slightly inaccurate ...

Yeah, I know. It was very impromptu. I'm generally a good boy these days--but it DID get me motivated to start my building project!

Tone Deft, thanks for taking the hit.

doc holiday, thanks, I'm gonna try that when I get a chance--I'm in the middle of building a massive (well, massive to me) audio workstation in my spare bedroom. Booze, ephedrine and a friend made me start it on a whim the weekend after I started this topic. So ...

Alright, here's the reply I had for Laird before I realized there were a ton of replies while I was typing:

I very much realize that Torq and Ableton don't communicate with one another. And I believe I am using Torq properly (although I've only had it a couple months). The problem lies in the fact ...

Well, that's what I thought it might be, but they're just wave files--some of which have been PLAYED in torq--but I'm not sure how torq could've modified them. And again, not all off them are named with the .trq. Besides, if I rendered and renamed them in ableton, shouldn't it be pretty much self ...

I already read the manual's minuscule section on rendering--and thanks to most of you, I reread it and have concluded that it is still minuscule. My Ableton Live 5 Power! book, is equally vague on this matter--I mean, it seems like I'm doing everything by the book, but the files appear to leave ...

Warping only works in Ableton? Prob a double post

I've transfered a ton of vinyl into wave files and have "successfully" warped some of them--albeit with about a MILLION warp markers per track... Anyways, as far as Ableton's concerned, no prob, but when I render these tracks and try to play them in, say, Torq, its like I never even warped them ...
