Well I don't know about mentor but I can always give tips and trick to anyone who needs it.
So basic controls of your audio interface. Gain is one of the top on the list. This controls the volume of the channel. This should sort out the problem you have with vocals being quiet.

hi
I have some vst and audio units that I would like to remove from ableton live. Couldn't figure out how to do it. I'm running it on a mac and I have been to the audio and vst folder but there appear to be nothing there. Any help?

ok So two things first I would like to see if hooking up a xbox 360 wireless controller to my mac for midi is possible?
Secondly I have hooked up my wii controller to my mac but can I have it so that when I push a button it moves on to the next channel or FX?

sorry I have wanted to run it that way but I think that if my computer crashed or something went wrong then I would lose all sound. So I'm just running the direct out of each channels out into 2 presonus firepods.

I'm just starting using ableton live for some live recordings. 16 channels of recording. Doing 2 or 3 bands per night I work.
