correct me if I'm wrong, and I often am but can't you do all the same things with scale and chord that come with live 8.1.4?


also as I'm here I think the way music is now days learning basic chords is more power to you but not essential to producing a great piece of music. DJ Shadow / Groove ...

export stems to individual length?

Hi all is there a way to export my individual tracks but so the resulting file is only as long as the audio in its track.

at the moment when you export all tracks it can only be to a set length. (great for syncing stems but bad for sample prep our transferring a set to cd's to then play in a club ...

Hey Me Too,

I used Cubase since v1.o4 on atari and upgraded all the way to cubase 4 then I saw the demo of Ableton demo and sold cubase to get it.

Cubase is like your Nan she knows a lot of shit but she keep falling asleep and thinks she knows best.

Live is fresh and just wants to help.

I have recently come over to live from cubase and would like to see a few things to make this already great program even better.

I think a slice tool and key command that slices at the point of the play head would be good.

I also think the play head should stay where it stops and then play from ...

how to maintain a samples original tempo?

Hi all,

I am working with a vocal track that needs to stay at the tempo it was recorded but it keeps coming in and sounding pitched up just by one octave, I have turned of auto warp and turned of warp in the clip.

I can be transposed down to sound ok but I want to know why it's happening?

cool, I don't seem to find any web or documentation that explains the process. I know I can do a mix and render that out or load a track and render that channel but I was hoping for some kind of lazy export my warped library to aiffs button.
