how to maintain a samples original tempo?

Post by jimp74 » Sat Jul 05, 2008 4:30 pm

Hi all,

I am working with a vocal track that needs to stay at the tempo it was recorded but it keeps coming in and sounding pitched up just by one octave, I have turned of auto warp and turned of warp in the clip.

I can be transposed down to sound ok but I want to know why it's happening?

if any one knows it would be helpful

cheers

if you turned warp off on the clip, then nothing should be happening to it

so if it remains an octave high, sounds like maybe a sample rate problem

?

Thanks for your reply, I don't know what the problem was but it seems to be ok after a restart.
