Re: FS : Ableton Live 9 Suite (Max For Live Included) = 300 EURO

I've sent several PMs to this seller, which have all been read, with no reply and no confirmation if it's already sold or if it comes with upgrade to Live 10.

I give up!

If you can't find quality freeware synths then you aren't looking hard enough! :D

Get over to KVR and have a GOOD look around the forum and reviews etc, there are many freeware synths that produce great sound and are being used by signed artists on commercial releases.

Unfortunately there does ...

I found this very useful, a tap-tempo BPM counter on a web page. Very handy, worked a treat when i was testing the chris cowie DJing method.

Establish the BPM to within a .1 if possible, i tap-tempo'd (on a webpage BPM counter i found - http://www.b-boys.com/beatcounter.html ...

So has anyone had much luck with this method or established any more guidelines for success?

I had a very quick try earlier, and my first attempts where useless, couldn't sort 2 records to sync at all!

Someone mentioned that precisely establishing the BPM of the track before warping is of great ...

OK so i have got my seperate monitor and output working fine, but having tried just warping 2 tracks and then mix them, i failed miserably.

I am assuming that if i had warped the 2 tracks in the correct manner (chris cowie method) then then would have played perfectly for as long as i left them ...

I remember someone from Ableton saying that warping a compressed codec like mp3 is no mean feat because the only way to do it is to uncompress on the fly. Just speeding it up and slowing it down like NI Traktor is easy by comparison.

Just use something like Goldwave to batch convert your whole mp3 ...

How do you use ableton to dj? I mean do you just use live and no turntables>? If so do you just load whole songs into each clip???? If you do this then you really arent a dj. You just click the clip to play the next element without even mixing. I mean Is this really djing? If so then call every 13 ...

Ashley,

In my opinion mixing is one of the hardest skills to learn and master, Its one of those things where you can spend ages and think you've got it just right, only to hear it on a different system and realise its a mash of clashing frequencies! As far as i can tell, only a small minority ever ...
