I'm on WinXP in this instance. I can however double-click the clip and it inserts a new channel with the clip.

Is there anyway to copy clips from one set to another when running multiple instances of Ableton?

I'm on 8.0.3 and having trouble drag/dropping warped clips that reside in another live set. I navigate to the .ALS file then open the nested tree of audio channels and the clips within those channels. When I drag onto the new set, "Loading..." appears in the status bar then nothing happens.

the registry fix worked for me.

A driver release would probably make it easier for windows users. I bet it's a snap on the Mac side.

+1 here. Just got the APC40 in the mail. I'm on WinXP SP3 using Live 8.0.3. Dev Manager listed APC as a "USB Audio Device". In Live Prefs, USB Audio Device is NOT listed under Midi Ports nor is it listed under Input and Output next to Control Surface.

Any help would be great.

I think I jumped the gun too early in upgrading to 8.0.1. I'm getting all kinds of crashes, mainly C++ runtime errors on the PC side resulting in having to reboot the machine each time this happens.

Version 7 however is stable. I'd like to save out my 8.0.1 projects (that I originally started in 7 ...

I have a Novation Nocturn to control plug-ins and Live is not recording tweaks. Version 7 worked like a charm.. Any ideas what could be wrong?

This was available in Live 7, I cannot do this in 8. Is there another shortcut key combo?

Hey guys,
I just upgraded to 8. In 7, I was able to quickly move the loop bars while in arrangement view by pressing Shift + Mouse click at a point just underneath the measure numbers. I cannot do this in 8. Is there another shortcut?

i see, so the overall latency directly related to my soundcard/audio buffers takes a bit of trial and error to find out what works since there isn't a menu that specifically clocks this value?
