Cannot drag clips from other Live sets onto a new one.

I'm on 8.0.3 and having trouble drag/dropping warped clips that reside in another live set. I navigate to the .ALS file then open the nested tree of audio channels and the clips within those channels. When I drag onto the new set, "Loading..." appears in the status bar then nothing happens.

that sounds strange. Does this happen with any clips, or just with certain ones?
Which computer/operating system do you use?

I'm on WinXP in this instance. I can however double-click the clip and it inserts a new channel with the clip.

Is there anyway to copy clips from one set to another when running multiple instances of Ableton?
