i dont use the jog whhel in ableton, it is good to use in Traktor though.
I am using it in Ableton as a DJing tool and works ok, I am quite restruicted though as I only have 2 channels, I could really do with another console,

Any reccomendations?

I have borrowed my mate Hercules DJ Console to use in conjuction with Live (to be used as a DJing midi controller)

Please leave your thoughts and experiences with this controller as I might purchase one.

I am new to Live, I have mastered the warping side and mixing together of my warped tracks, but I love my CDJ 1000's and when I am DJing I still want to be able to use these BUT I also want to be able to use Lives great effects on the tracks I am playing through my CDJ's.

I have a decent laptop and I want to know some of the best soundcards to use to run live for a dj set.

I have 2 x CDJ 100's a laptop and a mixer.

Can I syncronise everthing. I want to use Live simply as an effects unit.

How do I syn everything and in what order?

is there any way to wire up live to a mixer.

I still want to use my cdj 1000's when i am djing but i would also like to use the effects live has to offer. Is there anyway to make this happen?

I am a working DJ and I have just purchased Ableton Live 4.

My question(s) is(are);

Can I use the software at one of my gigs, I have heard Sasha uses it.

Do I just wire it into the back of the mixer?

How the hell do you mix the tunes, beat matching etc etc as you would on the old ...
