Hey - I'm trying to import wav files to lay over a beat, but the time/speed are sped up when I drag them onto the track. How do I disable the feature that does that?

Is there something that works like Wave Hammer in Live?

I swore, as I have worked on tracks, I've come across a wave hammer. Now I need it and can't find it. Is there a wave hammer in Live 3.0? Where is it?

If I want to do more than stand behind my computer during a performance, what kind of cool controllers can I use to manipulate effects on stage? And what kind of interface? I use a mac. Anyone? Anyone?

New to Live here. I want to edit my samples (cut them and make them into new samples before working with them) - what's a good external program for Mac Users for sample editing?
