i figured it out. the latency was ok; it was the quantization that needed to be turned off.

i've been getting into dj'ing with live, but i am having difficulty playing the track on time. i'll have the start point right on the first beat, but when i hit play, there's a split second delay that keeps the beat from dropping where i want it. is anyone else experiencing this nuisance?
