Re: Send panning
Are you're sure the reverb you're using on your return is stereo or dual-mono? Live's sends are panned according to the track panning if your send is set to post. Sorry if it wasnt clear; when designing space and instrument relationships, independent ie unlinked relationships are vital. As another ...

Send panning
Hi All Usually eg in Cubase etc, when I want a sound to appear in hard left pan but I want the reverb send to actually be right biased or even centred, I simply unlink the send pan and adjust its panning independent and all is good...where is the panning control for the send? Unless Im missing somet...

Numeric inputs for eg Velocity
Hey, I have looked through the reference manual and I realise midi velocity is adjusted in the editor by vertical blah blah. When using a small area and wanting exact inputs, would like to simply type but cannot see how to do that, or even qualifier for fine adjust?
Cheers

Re: Control selected track \w keyboard shortcuts
Can you delete contents of log.txt
Restart Live
Close and attach the log file here?
I use to program M4L but it just makes things way more complex. STC is great and way better native; just needs an update which is going to be fairly basic

Re: GUI access of macro knobs > 8
Not sure if you are aware that the built-in devices have standard mappings for all their controls which you can access from your controller. It's documented in the Help View under MIDI Controllers. Look for Control Surface Reference, then there's a link to a "... detailed list of every device...." ...

Re: GUI access of macro knobs > 8
17.2.1 in the manual Hi Rabbits Not sure you read the question. I appreciate your answer but specifically: Im asking how to map macro knobs to >8 ie the first bank, so that the user can selectively apply mapping to Bank 1 via the GUI (which is pretty obvious) but then apply the same logic to a knob...

There is a util to update v2 to v3...just google it and run the existing .py through it...I heard that it works for other stuff.

GUI access of macro knobs > 8
Hi All Just programming the device parameters and have set up a basic device, mapped the first 8 macro knobs and all is working well. Now, I want to create a 2nd page of knobs for this device...I cannot find how you scroll to the next macro knob page? Via remote script/LOM it has all the hooks to ba...

Re: Demystifying Ableton Quantize
Thanks...nice and appreciate having a second perspective (a third would be good)...I was starting the conversation because its ambiguous in context to other programs in the industry...but I hope you dont mind if I condense yours and any other info into a flow chart/table for easier consumption. Demystifying Ableton Quantize
Hi All Coming from other daws like Cubase, Logic etc...I found Live a bit tricky to understand...so here is a reference (and not covering the deeper things of groove) because I could only find fragmented info. "Coming from other DAWs, I would usually use just a flow chart to easily absorb the archit...
