it means there is a lead weight attached to the underside of each key.
'synth action' usually implies no weights.
'full weighted' is piano action eg. 88-key synths/clavinovas

i agree with you completely.
i use an alesis qs6.1 as a midi controller (synth action semi-weight) because i am too clumsy on anything else.

He does almost all of his automation live and it's mind blowing.
he is playing his CDs back on a dual CD deck through a DJ mixer.
occasionally he crossfades 2 tracks together or applies some of the cheap built-in effects.
i suppose the show would be great if you kept your eyes closed.
