Dennis, check out whether you RME interface has a direct monitoring option... monitoring live inputs in every DAW will take some some time (latency).

Hi, I sure hope somebody can help me figure this one out. I am trying to make a few radio station sweeps and station ID spots for my radio station, but I am getting a weird delay/echo when I use my microphone.

I am using Live 5 with a RME Multiface sound card and a Studio Projects C1 mic. My mixer ...

Has anyone else seen this? Coming out in April - looks more for advanced users and might be better than the Live 6 Power! book.

well I am still NO luck with rendering. I get glitches sometimes on the first note and there will be the odd midi note that comes in late. Sometimes the FX returns are not in the mix, ticks, odd little noises here and there that i am not familier with, short birst of screetching noise in the middle ...

I am considering the update from Live 4 to Live 5 and would like to know if they have improved the sound engine in Live 5.

I personally felt that the sound engine in Live 4 was a little metallic ...

I had problems with 4.1.2 and went back 4.1. The problems I had with 4.1.2 were it took so long to bring up it from scratch and it also took a long time to load a project. Absolutely!!! A must have... Also, better CPU usage of VSTis either by Freezing or code improvements. Also, deeper MIDI editing. But at least, PDC!
