That is a coincidence! I thought someone else must have noticed the popping. I searched the forum archive to see but couldnt find a post so decided I'd post to put my mind at rest. I find it makes the popping when I use settings such as this -

so im not nuts??? how are you going to go about using the midi files in ableton?? do you have to take every loop through recycle and alter its midi first?? god i wish i had the software to try this ish out.

Take the fat drum sample you got from your source, and Recycle it - turning it into a .rex ...

hmm i'd try it but i dont have recycle or anything like it.

im trying to find out if its worth the extra 100 dollars over something like Beat Creator as they sound very similar.

My drums are clipping my entire mix. I use impulse for my drums and I can see the master volume clipping mainly because of the impulse track(drums). Im wondering if its alright to leave it clipping like that since the whole song sounds fine even with the master level clipping. I use sampled drumhits ...

Is there such a thing? EVrytime I try to loop record my drums it would overwrite the previous fies and I end up messing up the loop....... Im missing my mpc's loop recording capability!!!!
