My Powerbook is not recognising any of my midi devices.
It simply is not receiving midi

When I go to the Audio MIDI devices section it does not see the devices I have plugged in and then 'unexpectedly quits'. It's quit on me so many times now it is no longer 'unexpected' and more 'damn annoying ...

Ok I'm really excited - it's always fun buying new equipment
I opted for the LaCie 250 MB with triple interface
So I can use USB on my Powerbook and can use firewire on my G5

As my Powerbook only has 1 firewire output and this is being used for my external soundcard, I was thinking of getting a Lacie 160 GB 7200 rpm USB 2.0..............so I'm glad someone has had positive feed back with this one

As my Powerbook is now full..........I'm looking to get an external harddrive for storing my wavs and to use with LIVE.

Can anyone tell me from experience if this will cause problems?
And is it better to have the wavs I'm accessing and using in Live in a live application actually saved on my ...

Why do people always go on about LIVE potentially creating more DJs.
Beat matching is hardly rocket science anyway - and with decks ...

Firstly - if you don't to use the feature you don't.
Secondly, if you follow the forums, there has been huge requests for LIVE to support mp3s (me included)
A vast percentage of DJs play using CD these days - and many of these tracks were infact mp3s - swapped online or ...

Again - apologies if there's been a forum on this already but I'm having probems assigning effects to my midi keyboard

For example with Ping Pong delay - I can easily assign the turning on and off button to a knob or fader on my midi controller, however I don't seem to be able to assign the little ...
