I'm used to using various Euclidean sequencers in VCVRack, and saw a Euclidean generator in Live 12 and thought "Great!"

But the stock Euclidean generator that shows up in clip view seems like a joke. Only 16 steps? Only one measure?

Is there something better for generating Euclidean Rhythms, or ...

I ran into this problem when I ran Live with another program already running that tied up MIDI ports. The Default Skin shows disabled ports as bright orange on light grey, which is unreadable.

My suggestion is to tweak the orange color down in brightness so that it's legible.

I don't know whether Ableton or Akai bear responsibility for this, but you can't use the APC Mini in combination mode with APC40 or APC20.

I don't understand why the APC MINI (and the APC Key 25, with which it shares remote script implementation) don't get the love & support that the more expensive ...

Does the BCF work differently than the APC40? You'd have to have a button send a CC, I guess. The APC 40 doesn't give you that option.

Is there a trick that would let me map a button on my APC40 to turn 'trigger' on and off as a gate?

I can make a button (I use 'STOP ALL CLIPS' since that's dangerous to hit accidentally in a live set) toggle the 'repeat' button in the Beat Repeat, but I have to hit the button once to turn it on ...

So I have read the tutorials for poly~ and thispoly~ and I can't create a working patcher to use in an instance of poly~.

I've been trying to make a simple control device for use with my JX-3P. When i save the device in M4L, the patch connection lines continue to show when viewed in Ableton. How do i get rid of these?

Granulator should work just fine with mono or stereo files.
You should be able to drag them from the live browser and from the finder on Mac, did not test on a windows. You cannot drag clips from session or arranger yet, that's a limitation of M4L still.

Start up Reaktor in another host and load an ensemble. Then, go to Reaktor's preferences and check "auto save off by default". Note that this option only appears in the preferences when Reaktor's used as a plugin.

It's a Core2 Quad machine, running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

So I start Live 8.1.1, load an instance of Reaktor 5.15.002.

It prompts me to select my auto-save folder. I click the 'browse' button and it hangs up forever. What gives?
