I rely on the APC 40 for DJing in live, so its largely based around that.

Take the time and warp your tracks you think you'll use beforehand.
Open the tracks up, completely disregard what 8 has to say for the most part, and look at the start of the wavform, right click and choose set 1.1 here. Play it through w/metronome, see if it works, and then if it does, keep it. if ...
