Re: Latest Live 8 version: Live 8.1 is online!

Why release an upgrade without a corresponding change log? Why should we have to wait days or weeks to find out what's changed? It's out of order, Ableton!

Re: Multiple outputs from Live

Doesn't Edirol's own software allow you to route the outputs?

Re: Question about Live8 Suite

You need to email the support team, but I think the answer will be no, that you bought a single indivisible license. Nor can you sell your older version if you upgraded.

In the Arrangement view make sure the track is expanded (you can see the waveform).

Click in the track to locate the cursor at the beginning of the section you want to delete. Choose Split from the Edit menu.

Re: For the love of god someone please help! =/

I'm no midi expert, but I don't think the LP can be expected to play back the sounds after processing within Live, as this is now audio which must be routed elsewhere. The LP can play back the midi notes as recorded, but the voice can only be one of its built-in ones, surely?

Follow the Live lesson on audio hardware setup and then read chapter 30 in the manual to ensure all your settings are optimal.

Lost City Radio by Pete Faraway

I've released a dozen ramshackle guitar tunes as a set called Lost City Radio and you can listen at:

or at

All produced from scratch in Live. Comments welcome.
