You've probably already narrowed down your problem by using the DPC latency tool. Heaps of yellow and red indicate something on the system is preventing the system from responding quickly enough.

Stay focused on DPC latency... work on getting it in order. Start doing things like disabling ethernet ...

+1 for a "next song" tab. Until then, this is how I do it

I actually run 3 instances of Ableton for my live shows. 2 are used to load and run my songs, and 1 is used as a virtual mixer for our vocalists.

Most of my live sets are about ~500mb, with anywhere from 20 - 60 tracks each. I totally agree ...

midi-ox can generate midi sync, and it's free.

I have midiyoke so I am good.. I guess I could just run Reaper or acid or something as a master clock, and broadcast that to myself, and over the LAN.. that way we can sync/desync without dropping the actual clock signal..

would that work?
