Kaoss pad type control in Ableton

Is it possible to create a X/Y control pad in ableton to control note on's or even the note pitch of an arpeggiator?

Anyone tried this.

Pretty much what the Kaososilator does but in Ableton. Pitch going up, rythm going left/right.

Thanks

I have 2 kids, 3 and 1, boy, girl. I decided to buy an Elektron Monomachine, as I spent too much time with live and trying soft synths and sorting out pc issues etc. Monomachine is great as it turn's on and works instantly and you've no Distraction like soundcards, latency and other PC stuff to sort...

Spectralis,Monomachine......

Hi there

I'm thinking of getting either one of these, the spectralis is winning by a nose at the moment, so I was wondering if there were any thoughts on them or if anyone has heard of something else similar?

Hardware equivalent to Live

I know there isn't one but is there one that's close?

the closest I've found is the MPC range and am thinking of getting the MPC1000.

Thought I'd put it up here in case i missed something.

BTW I mostly make meldic music rather than hip hop or percusive driven tunes.

Thanks

Lived in Edinburgh for a while now in Dundee but hey, making my own scene. For music, Glasgow is the place to be, nicer people, better access to europe, less tourists, trust me it makes a big difference. Weather not great but it's the same anywhere in scotland, no getting away from it. Edinburgh and...

I looked into making cd's and the initial cost plus all the packaging and postage etc does increase it a bit, wasn't really what I was looking for. I doub't I'd sell 1000 cd's easily and having to go to the post office every other day isn't my idea of fun and takes time away from creating new tunes....

Selling a download Album

Hi there

Does anyone have any tips or pointers as to the best way to sell an album via download on my own website?

Is it just as simple as putting a page with a paypal button on it?

DO you guys and gals think this is a viable way to sell your own music?

Is cd a dead format?

Thanks
