Is it possible to control macro values from another track by using MIDI notes? For instance, I have a macro that is mapped to a VSTi's cutoff filter. Could I automate the macro by drawing MIDI notes on another track so that a higher note would result in a higher macro value and a lower note in a ...

I have finally figured it out. The reason it wasn't working is because I didn't enable Sync and Remote MIDI functions.

The only problem right now is that I would like the note keys to send CC values in increments/decrements of 1 but what I am getting is the following:

E = 12
D# = 9
D = 5
C# = 3
C ...

Hmm, no matter if I try a macro or VSTi's knob, I can't map MIDI piano's note keys. Any other suggestions?

You can set the range of your keyboard to a parameter by going to midi map mode, clicking the parameter, holding down the bottom note of your keyboard, and then hitting the top note

I would like to be able to assign all of the MIDI keyboard note keys to a chosen envelope. Is this possible?
The idea is that when I press a higher note, a higher value is sent to the envelope. Pressing a lower note would send a lower value.

- for AudioTrack1, AudioTrack2, and ReturnA I've changed "Audio Out" to "Sends Only"

Pretty sure they go to the HD, not Ram. I don't think there is any way to change that. So the clicks are happening more when you are freezing tracks.... or the click's were already there and DONT'T go away when you freeze?

The reason I ask is because after freezing 5 or more tracks, I start to hear lots of clicks, however, I don't see Disk Overload indicator light. Can anyone suggest something to fix this?

After it's frozen, you can think of it as an audio clip. The same thing happens with a normal audio clip containing a long decay: if you place another copy on top of the decay, on the same track, it cuts it off. What you're actually hoping for is playing multiple clips on the same track ...

when you freeze a midi track that has alot of tails then move things around you'll start cutting off tails here and there which you don't want, but if you move things and then unfreeze and then freeze it again you should get a new freeze of the current possition of all the clips and the tails ...

deep freeze twice the same midi clips repeated and then flatten. only repeat the second part... if your midi clip is 4 bars, repeat it, and deep freeze 8 bars etc...
