ha nice...yeah always sampled vinyl at 45 with pitch at + 8 to get maximum sample time!

Usually if people end up at my place for a late night of partying, and I want to get rid of 'em..I put in El Topo or Holy Mountain. That usually sends them on their way after about 15-20 minutes.

Actually, I could use a kid version for myself..

Yeah--- 16K RAM, and a big ass, HEAVY "Peripheral Expansion Board"..... I had a game "Bruce Lee" that I used to play for hours and hours on it... And I had the optional speech synthesizer too... The TI was hardcore ...

Well I been using it since 1990..

It's very limiting..for example trying to add an 808 or a crash or ride takes up a lot of sample time, so sometimes I'd have to use 2 disks. Being limited like that for so long and then using Live was actually overwhelming at first..

Live 7 and Pad Kontrol has recently replaced my SP-1200 drum machine (12 bit, 10 second sample time) and Roland 16 track.. I use primarily for Hip Hop/Beat oriented music.

I haven't even scratched the surface of Live 7 and already I have way more freedom/options than my 2 old standbys. Slice to ...
