I'm not sure about in the studio but when playing out live Daedelus uses mlr with his proto-100h not ableton Live ...

the 2 hours of recording will stress your system a bit, believe.

Problem - I want to use livecut or beatrepeat on a channel with In selected on the monitor because I want a channel I can just play into and effect without recording, but each time I place Livecut in the chain the channel stops outputing sound even though ...

I saw that I would be able to do the same thing using Live (I'm still using 5.01) and an LX-1. I thought I could do this using the Session View and putting repeated instances of the same clip in ...

I would love to come and do something like this, even if it was just going for a drink, talking technique and sharing ideas.

I'm too young to own a credit card yet I want to upgrade Live 5, is it possible to use my dad's card, even though the serial number is registered to me? Or should I just put his details into the info part of the upgrade ...

ok mate - live is probably the easiest of the seqencers to pick up and play with. IMO of course.
