if you need the the effect remains in tempo with the rest of track how you compensate the delay?

example: i often use it for pitch down the vocal cause i like how it sound.
but i have problem the the vocal is out of time with the rest of track..

i would to know from beta tester of live8 some info about nu multiband comp.

how it works? i dont see some of common parmaters of a normal compressor (attack or release for example)
how it sounds?
there are some artifacts due to band split?
it's possible have more of three bands?

i have tried many many tools for spread audio and always not find what i would. someone introduce artifacts, some other color the bass etc.

the best way to add some good and not excessive (remember always mono-comp) is using the 8 eq in M/S mode.

i need a way to have more than 8 knob with the effect rack.
the rack in the rack not works because i can't direct map the vst inside the 2nd rack.
someone have a trick for make this (i need 16knob)?

in bcr2000 it is possible with the automap fuction of ableton.
try this on your controller, go preferences, midi, select your controller and press dump.
or read the ableton lesson; in live 7 are really good. just click on view, lesson, midi interface. there are the list of midi cc assigment

i would make a midi preset for my bcr2000 in live7; my goal is to realize a midi preset that it works on the focused channel, on the main control of this (volume, send, pan, etc)

example:

bcr 2000 knob 1 > volume channel;

now > i'm setting the volume on channel 1 > this channel is focused ...
