The boomerang effect on the track 'When I Grow Up' is stunning!

"...throwing out boomerang waiting for it to come back to me"
then...
...wait for it, wait for it... sweet!
I played it for some of my friends and ...

Re: Acoustic guitar and minimal electronic ?
Ever heard of The Books?
They use guitars, cellos, and a lot of vocal/electronic samples. Not too 'minimal', but you might dig it.

Nothing will change. The Iranian president is a figurehead and has no real power anyway.
Ahmadinejad will prevail.

Re: Grouped Tracks Fader Question
^^ Got it.
So, I also use Live's utility plug at the end of my signal chain in order to free up the track faders from any volume automation. But i read recently that dropping in an effects rack and automating the chain volume is a better way to go because you can bring sounds down to silence ...

Grouped Tracks Fader Question
If i wanted to attenuate the volume of a song using L8's new 'select all track faders simultaneously' feature, i presume i should leave any group tracks at 100%, and only bring down the faders within the group, so as to keep the overall volume balance equal? Right?

Re: Sidechaining a certain frequency possible?

I've read on this forum that one might want to duck certain mid-range frequencies when vocals are present. would this be the way to do it? and is this what you ...

Re: How do I set up Live 8 suite on my second mac ?
I've just upgraded to L8 and would like to install on a my laptop as well...but in the 'manage account' section of the ableton website, it only lists one license serial. I tried to copy/paste it into my second running version of Live and was rejected. where can i get the second license?

...(because most people go through life doing nothing creative at all).
 ? wow, what a blanket statement! Maybe not 'creative' in the 'four on the floor + cheesy arpeggiator synth = creative' kind of way,
but surely, everyone offers their own unique creativity to even the smallest events ...

Re: Is there a Phase Meter Plug-in for Live?
How do i increase stereo spread with a phase analyzer?
Now my friend, that's one of the biggest secrets in mixing though i wouldn't recommend you any analyzers
for stereo spread...
It's all about the sound design and mixing so try to experiment there
My 2 cents
