Re: Dbox+ Apollo X8 and Ableton Live routing issue (new MacBook)

Just an update that I figured it out.
Like an idiot I left the "allow Ableton microphone access" unchecked in my preferences. Apparently this isn't just for the internal mic but for all inputs across any connected interface. Kept thinking it was a routing issue in Console with all the new software ...

Dbox+ Apollo X8 and Ableton Live routing issue (new MacBook)

Hello,

I recently got a new MacBook and am having a major issue after reinstalling everything. Everything is connected properly between the dbox+ and the Apollo, the summing out from the dbox is going into inputs 7/8 of my Apollo, and the meter on the Apollo is showing signal. However, when ...

here's something i've always wondered...

if my conversion rate is set to 48k when recording MIDI samples, and then i freeze the track and set the rate to 96k, will i still receive the benefits of the 96k when i bounce the track?

sorry to hear about it mate.

as previously mentioned, i would seek a lawyer ASAP. usually you can call a firm and seek advice first, but even paying for a firm to write a letter on your behalf stating that you will file a suit if you aren't compensated will pay off. if you have even a decent ...

i first learned on logic, i like it, still do. but using ableton is just so much more intuitive for me, it's so friendly to those who like to work with ideas on the flow and quickly. it doesn't bother me at all the live doesn't have all the options like logic. i don't master my own work and with the ...

i have no reason to delete any old sessions, but as far as going back to ideas that i previously passed on, i don't. i used to think that every idea i started i'd finish into a track, but personnaly i think that limits my potential as not every idea i have is as good as the last. it's good to be ...
