Hello,
I recently got a new MacBook and am having a major issue after reinstalling everything. Everything is connected properly between the dbox+ and the Apollo, the summing out from the dbox is going into inputs 7/8 of my Apollo, and the meter on the Apollo is showing signal. However, when inserting the External Audio Effect on my master to route the signal, it shows no signal. When in Console, I can monitor through inputs 7/8 but I know that has to be muted when set up properly.
I'm quite confused as it only took me a few minutes to set this up when I first got the dbox+ over a year ago, there was a post online explaining the routing with the dbox/apollo combo within live, but I can't find it anywhere. I'm sure I'm missing something very simple, any help is greatly appreciated!
Dbox+ Apollo X8 and Ableton Live routing issue (new MacBook)
Re: Dbox+ Apollo X8 and Ableton Live routing issue (new MacBook)
Just an update that I figured it out.
Like an idiot I left the "allow Ableton microphone access" unchecked in my preferences. Apparently this isn't just for the internal mic but for all inputs across any connected interface. Kept thinking it was a routing issue in Console with all the new software updates, but of course it was the most simple solution.
