Spectrum Analyser

Hoorah, was excited to see this as a new feature in live as I am tuning sound systems and use an rta measurement mic. Is great to get a visual of the speaker output. Here is a snapshot of pink noise loaded straight into live. Can someone tell me why there is a drop off ? If you look at the 3rd party...

perhaps try the echo audiofire 2 or 4 ... i have the 2, and so far am quite happy with it, i do get the feeling that it doesn't quite meet the quality of my motu traveller but not complaining bout sound quality at all. As a portable interface it seems quite adequate. If you can afford it tho i recom...

Where is live 6 library supposed to be stored ?

When I first installed it I chose a seperate location to the default because it said it would affect live 5 sets or something ? But now that i have and satisfied its running smooth should i move the library to another location or does it not really matter ?

No, the tracks warp button was on, turning it off improved the sound hugely. warp was in complex mode but master tempo set the same as the track so no stretching involved at all. Why the really poor sound quality with the warp button on ? I add again that the problem only seems to exist at 44.1........

Seems if i change the sample rate within live the quality improves ? Theres definitely a big quality difference when compared to playing the same file in itunes. Didn't notice so much at first, thought somethings not right so then compare them and way different ?

get over yourself, and do a little work, you pansies.
It's not a complaint ... it's feedback, which could possibly help to improve things even further.

yes true, it would be really nice if you could look at your 'playlists' in the live browser rather than the library, i have had to create at least 2 seperate libraries for different genres just so i can have some classification....and its a pain switching between libraries for importing to itunes al...
