Hoorah, was excited to see this as a new feature in live as I am tuning sound systems and use an rta measurement mic. Is great to get a visual of the speaker output.

Here is a snapshot of pink noise loaded straight into live.

Can someone tell me why there is a drop off ? If you look at the 3rd party plug in you will notice it has a default correction of 3db which gives a level representation compared to the live version.

Why is this, could the live version do this/have this adjustment also ?

Would be good also to have the ability to see more of an average so is not jumping around so much. I know you can adjust it a bit but more so would be great ?

hi alan,

the drop off is there because pink noise has a roll-off by definition ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_noise ), if you wan't no roll-off, you must use white noise.

There are spectrum analyzers out where you can setup a slope to rescale the plot, unfortunately Spectrum doesn't have that feature. I'll put your wish on the big list.
