Re: Drum Rack Chains in Instrument Rack... odd behavior.
steps to reproduce:
1. create a new MIDI track
2. drag an instrument rack onto this track, select it - Push shows a note sequencer
3. open the chain section of the rack
4. drag a drum rack into the instrument rack - Push changes layout to a drum sequencer
5. drag a second (third, fourth, eighth ...

Re: Drum Rack Chains in Instrument Rack... odd behavior.
I just want to chime in, I know this is a very old post but I'm seeing the same behaviour both on Live 9.1 and on Beta 914b1.
Very frustrating.

Re: Post Your Push VST Mappings
So hey - with the AudioModder stuff...
I own Massive. I want to access Massive from Push. I see that you have mapped all the presets...
If I load a preset, and hit 'device', are the Push encoders mapped to MIDI parameters on Massive? If so, are they named appropriately (ie not MACRO1, MACRO2, etc ...

well, so far the best idea I've had is to use my little USB keyboard and map a macro to "CTRL-M, CTRL-M" - maybe with a 200ms pause in between them to get rid of the audible glitch that occurs if I do 'em too fast... :/

yes, it's set to REMOTE, and I'm not sending any TRACK data. :)
I'm not using Automap, I've got every button, slider and knob hard-coded in the BCF to be different CC's, and I switch between "songs" in my live set by switching presets on the BCF. The problem is the BCF has a memory, and saves it's ...

try using the 808 as the master clock.
I see and hear crazy drift syncing my MPC1000 with Live as the master, but if I make the MPC the master clock it locks tight as a drum (pardon the pun). seriously, there's a very, very noticible difference - I can set the delay perfectly one minute, then hit ...

forcing a 'midi remote' update, from midi?
I'm sure the subject isn't actually what the bit I'm looking for is called, but it's close. :)
I'm using a Behringer BCF 2000 with a lot of presets, with all the buttons mapped to clip launches (sixteen buttons times sixteen presets is a good amount of clips). I've finally managed to get the LEDs ...

Re: "external sync", turn on automatically?
Can anyone please tell me if it's possible to have Live start up with the 'external sync' setting already turned on?
I'm using Live headless on a rackmount PC, and I wouldn't need to hookup a monitor and mouse every friggin' time (except if there were problems) if I could just get the program to ...

option for turning on external sync as the default
please?
even a commandline switch would be AWESOME!
I use live as a rackmount sampler in my live act. I'm really tired of having to hook up a monitor, keyboard and mouse to my headless rackmount PC every time I reboot, just to set it to sync to MIDI. Everything else is automatic - the Live set ...
