Re: Clip colour in arrangement view
I have been advised a workaround, you need to move the mouse up to the header after you select something, then click delete, done.

Or at least make the clip color transparent so you do not need to enter "a" mode in the first place. What's the matter with the devs @ Ableton?

Re: Clip colour in arrangement view
Yes, exactly. This was one of live's advantages in clip edits , at least the way i work. Using Live this way since Ver.5 it is a big disappointment to see it can't be done on the new 10 Version.

Re: Clip colour in arrangement view
Nope, if you select a part of the clip and press delete for example it does not delete the part, still you can not edit.. only cut with Ctrl+E / Cmd+E

Re: Clip colour in arrangement view
Of course, you can also select the clip to see the lines... but still you can not see the lines behind the clip when the clip(s) are not selected which was one of the main advances of Live on quick audio cuts and edits. It simply does not make any sense

Re: Clip colour in arrangement view
Notes and automation are visible yes, but not the vertical "lines" in the canvas in ableton background. The clip now has colour istead of see-through like on all previous versions.

Clip colour in arrangement view
I just upgraded to Live version 10, seems there was a major change on clip colouring that is different from all previous versions, the clip now is totally coloured making it impossible to make edits right on the spot as i can not see the bars from the "canvas" behind the clip even by zooming in.

Re: Trading my NS10 & a100a amp for Mackies Hr824...??
no, sadly i had to sell my NS10..and the a100a amp to get the HR824's..
i did it as an experiment, but i'm satisfied with the result. Both of them are quite good for mixing, yes the Mackies have some bassy sound but you have an option to roll off to 47hz than 37hz (Normal). Or maybe is just the ...

the Highs are, if not exactly the same, at least very very close.. Mid range sounded better in HR824 and more wide than the NS10.. and of course they give mutch more precicion in ...

Re: Trading my NS10 & a100a amp for Mackies Hr824...??
Yeah.. i think the bass freqs are not telling the truth on my NS10 , all the times i mix kicks and bass i have to put my hands into my mixing desk to "feel" what bass freq resonates better.. hehe.. funny, but it works for me ;) that's the reason im thinking moving to hr824.. ihave NS10 for 12 years ...
