Decided to give the Ghostpoet / XLR8R remix contest a go. Grabbed the vocal stems from his track "Meltdown" and wrapped my own song around it. Really happy with how this one turned out.

Re: New Maschine Studio and Maschine 2.0 Update
Just IMO, Maschine Studio hardware is the best I've used to date. Mind you I've only worked on about 3 projects since opening it on Friday, but outside of a touch screen on those hi-def displays, this, so far, is my perfect piece of gear. I had a 3hr sesh on Friday night and looked at my computer ma...

Re: question re: routing in Ableton for live vocal effects
I would just route the audio track to "sends only" on the audio channels output setting. That sends the signal to just the sends, which send to the output - wet signal only. Would that work?

Re: 32Bit to 64Bit
Thanks man, that's what I kind of figured - appreciate the feedback. Now the laborious chore of installing all my music software. Can't wait to put the Mac through it's paces. On another note, and I admit that I haven't read a lot about this, but what are peoples take on the performance improvements...

32Bit to 64Bit
Hey all, quick question around 32bit vs 64bit versions of Live. I've made the jump from PC to Mac and picked up a pretty kick-ass Mac Book Pro. I was running the 32bit version of live on my PC and running into issues with CPU overload when I had quite a few efx & instrument VST'. So all my proje...

BCR/BCF2000 & Win8
Hey guys, I've been having a hell of a time trying to get my BCR/BCF to work with Win8. I've tried with and without drivers and Windows doesn't recognize the device. I was just wondering if anyone else has gotten this combo working (I've googled this to death with no luck). Some people have been abl...

Re: Has anybody received their Push yet?
Has anyone in Canada recived theirs yet? Mine has been stuck in customs since the 28th... I'm kinda in the same boat - cleared customs on Wednesday and nothing since (not even - out for delivery). I'm really hoping for it to come in tonight cuz I have a friend from Miami in town for a recording ses...

Downtempo Electronic Track
Put together this downtempo piece from some material that was captured during a jam session with some friends at The Red Room. Might be one of my best mixed tracks in terms of levels, and pretty happy with the way it turned out. Could probably have done better with the free flow vocals that were rec...

Re: Ypsi Kid - The Land Down Under - Dub Techno
Thanks man! Yeah, I usually layer the percussion a bit, but not the kick. I may try New York compression to see if that'll help or try do some more layering to get the drums to sit bitter in the mix! Appreciate the suggestions and the listen - cheers!

Re: All new LIVE tracks (dubstep, reggae, break)
Nice man - good live sound and loving the wobble bass on the dubstep tracks. Wasn't a huge fan of the keyboards, but props for pulling this off live. Thanks for sharing.

No worries man, always appreciate the feedback. Sometimes I get a bit lazy when writing tracks, always good to hear these things again!

Re: All new LIVE tracks (dubstep, reggae, break)
Would like to check these out, but the play button doesn't seem to do anything (on an iPad). I'll check these out next time I'm in my studio, any live dubstep or reggae, I'm game!

Re: Need Feedback - Minimal/Prog/Tech/Tribal
Hey man, A bit long for my taste, but you have some good ideas in there, just feels like it's missing something. The kick/bass seems to take most of the headroom, I'd try lower that a bit and getting you percussion to sit a bit higher in the mix, seems too far back for my liking. I like the pitched ...

Re: Ypsi Kid - The Land Down Under - Dub Techno
man i like it, love the synth, really spacey and ambient,i see what you mean about the kick, it is a bit quiet but apart from that the track is nice, would make a nice set opener Cheers man, thanks for checking it out! For some reason I'm having trouble getting my kicks to sit right lately despite ...
